Sambava is located on the north east coast of Madagascar and is the heart of the vanilla producing region. It is surrounded by dense tropical forest, rice paddies and small farming tracts growing vanilla, coffee, spices, and an array of fruits and vegetables.

Chantal, the owner of Villa Cali is a native of this region and happy to introduce visitors to life in Sambava.  Although Chantal now resides in California, she visits Sambava frequently and is available to help answer any questions guests may have.
